Anniversary advance sales are open! Ten years of Anime Messe Babelsberg, and we are celebrating with an extra day: on Thursday 22 July 2027 we open the convention with an exclusive birthday concert show.

Come with us to Adventureland, come with us to Animeland! From 22 to 25 July 2027, Anime Messe Babelsberg will transform the entire Filmpark near Berlin into an adventure land for anime and manga fans for the tenth time. Look forward to great shows and guests of honour straight from Japan, the home of anime. The price includes all programme items, shows, concerts, disco and admission to Filmpark Babelsberg. We will announce all programme items step by step on our website www.AnimeMesse.de.

  • Highlight concert: nano performs with her full band in 2027!
  • Exclusive birthday show on Thursday evening with many Japanese artists
  • Concerts by Japanese pop and rock bands in the Open Air Volcano Arena

10 years of Anime Messe: the birthday show on Thursday

For our tenth birthday we are adding an extra day. On Thursday evening we bring many Japanese artists together on one stage, look back with you at the highlights of ten years of Anime Messe, and close the evening with a performance you can only see on Thursday.

  • 16:00: doors open and signing session with our exclusive artist
  • 17:30: start of the birthday show with many Japanese artists, hosting and the highlights of ten years of Anime Messe
  • 19:00: short break
  • 19:15: part 2 of the birthday show
  • 20:45: stage changeover
  • 21:15: exclusive performance by an artist or band playing on Thursday only

There is a present on top: everyone with a Thursday ticket receives an exclusive birthday goodie for 10 years of Anime Messe on site.

Important information about Thursday: Only a strictly limited number of places is available on Thursday. The usual discounts do not apply on this day. There are no free places for accompanying persons or children. Every person needs a regular ticket for Thursday.

The earlier you buy, the more you save and the more you help the Anime Messe crew put on a great event for you. Please note that Saturday has sold out in recent years, so secure your tickets during advance sales in good time. Only unsold tickets are offered on site at a higher price for anyone deciding at short notice. We will announce those prices shortly beforehand.

*The extensive parts of the Filmpark close at 18:00. Still open are the Matsuri, Anime Cinema, Gaming Castle and the Artists Alley in the Caligari Hall.

Online tickets must be redeemed at the box office, so please make sure to be there in time for presale pickup.

Ticket Discounts

These discounts do not apply on Thursday. For the exclusive birthday show on Thursday, every person needs a regular ticket.

Children up to and including 10 years
Children up to and including 10 years have free admission from Friday to Sunday when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. Online, no extra ticket is needed for children up to and including 10 years, proof of age at the box office is sufficient.

Severely disabled persons
Accompanying persons of the severely disabled with the (B) mark in their ID card have free admission from Friday to Sunday and do not need to buy an extra ticket. At the box office, simply present the ID.

Groups: travel organisers, youth centres and school classes
